You may be able to take part if:
you are 18 years of age or older
you have been diagnosed with chronic HF at least 3 months ago and have an LVEF of less than 40% (we can measure this when we look to see if you can participate)
you are already receiving treatment for your HF.
If you participate, you will receive the trial medication for about 1 year and up to about 3.5 years. There will be no cost to you for the trial-related medications, health assessments, and medical tests.

The EASi-HF Reduced Trial is looking at an investigational treatment option for people with chronic heart failure (HF) who have left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of less than 40%. This means that the amount of blood the heart pumps is moderately or severely abnormal (a failing heart).
This investigational treatment option combines an investigational medication with an approved medication for HF. This will be compared with a combination of a placebo and the approved medication. All participants will also continue to receive their standard-of-care treatment for HF and will have regular trial site visits to check on their health.
